Deceased's day, great concurrence to the cemeteries. Families adorn the tombs of their loved beings with flowers and cards. "The colada morada" (drunk with fruits and aromatic grass) and guaguas de pan" (bread) are the foods of this time.

 

3 CUENCA (Azuay)
National civic celebration. Cuenca´s Independence, parades, artistic exhibitions, cultural events, Fair of Otorongo's crafts.

 

 

21 QUINCHE (Pichincha)
In tribute to the Virgin of the Quinche. Commercial fair, concurrence of thousands of devotee coming from the country and the outside.
