LODGE (THE ANFEL) (2 Days)

Departure from Quito early in the morning we travel the Pan-American highway heading north to Otavalo where we enjoy a short stop at the Artisan Market; we continue our trip to Santa Ana Hacienda where we enjoy a Agro-tourism and lunch. In the afternoon we continue to the Polylepis Lodge where we’ll find the last 12 acres of this millenary unique forest in the world. At night we’ll have a night hike with torches, dinner, and lodging.
On the next day, we’ll have breakfast and a morning hike through the Polylepis and Frailejones forest of the Andean prairies where you will be able to observe spectacular natural and exotic scenes one of a kind; at the end of the afternoon we return to Quito.
