DAY 2:

ATUNTAQUI (Imbabura): Civic - military  celebration, parades,  solemn session, election of the queen, industrial fair, cultural and sport events. From: February 14th until March 2 nd (17 days). Sugar Cane and Crafts festival, dances and open-air fair held on the eve of a saint’s day.

DAY 5:

AMBUQUÍ (Imbabura): Ovo’s celebration(Ovo is  a fruit), gastronomy and farming-industrial fairs, parades of fraternity, Ovo’s queen election, popular festival of music, raffles, roulettes, parades, Mocha Band and fights of roosters.

DAY 13 - 16:
SARAGURO (Loja): Celebrations of the Saraguros, procession and dances in honor to the Virgin.

SANTO DOMINGO DE LOS COLORADOS (Pichincha): Kasama: cultural celebration of the new year with marimba on Tsachila Community, Cultural and folkloric activities.

DAYS 22 - 26:
IBARRA (Imbabura): II Latin American Popular Fair of Exhibition of Crafts, exhibition and commercialization of national and international handicrafts.

DAY 28:

IBARRA (Imbabura): Mass of thanksgiving in the Merced’s Basilica. In 1872, Ibarra supports an earthquake; the city was destroyed completely. Four years later, ibarreños citizens come back with a mass of thanksgiving in the Merced’s Basilica.. Solemn session of the Authorities, cultural parade and acts, verbena. Return’s celebration.

ARCHIDONA (Napo): Chonta’s celebration, dances and canticles
