Last week of January and first of February:

SAQUISILÍ (Cotopaxi): Celebrations in honor of the Holy Virgin of the Quinche. The first Saturday of February parades and masquerades with allegorical bands and cars (12h00 to 18h00 hours). The first Sunday of February mass of celebration (10h00), procession (13h00).

CARNIVAL
At national level: 21, 22, 23 and 24th of February

DAY 12: 
At national level: Anniversary of the Amazon River’s discovery; the Ecuadorian Amazon’s day. 

PUYO (Pastaza), TENA (Napo), MACAS (Morona Santiago), ZAMORA (Zamora Chinchipe): Fairs and events in the occasion of the celebration of the Oriente´s day.

GALAPAGOS (Galapagos): Possession of the Galapagos Islands and the Insular Region’s day. 

DAY 18:
GALAPAGOS: province’s celebration, solemn session, sport games, gastronomical fair, international championship of surf, bikini open concourse, international championship of sport fishing, civic and military parade.

SAN CRISTOBAL AND SANTA CRUZ (Galapagos): Canton’s celebration, civic and military parade, solemn session, popular dances, adornment with flags in the city, Farming Fair, sport championships, parades fashionable, election of the queen, cleaning farming activity.
